i think they basically see how much ur car is worth like trading it in, then they kinda cut some of the price down so they can earn money off it... if i wanted a celi that bad and had no use for a van then i'd trade it in for a celi... ur choice man... good luck thumbsup

dude, if its a Super White GTS that you want i know of one place in San Diego.

They have a 2002 Super White GTS Celica, I checked it out a while ago, it was clean. i didnt get to see the milage but it was in good condition. check the autotrader. it should be around $11,000-$12,000.

i was gonna trade in my silver 4-speed for it. he said that i need to go to a bank and have them work out the money thing. but then i chose to wait a little longer.

how about selling it "privately" the money you get can be used to pay off the van and the rest can be used as a down payment.

now i'm want something sportier and the celica caught my eye!...my two co-worker's they have one...And i test drove one and i love the styling and sleek look and handling of the celica! it just grabbed me!...and the car that i test drove was a CELICA GT in super white no action package, but it a 2004 very clean black leather interior i think! thumbsup wave

I have an easy fix for you. drive into the dealer ship of kearny mesa. tell them you want a GTS celica. theyll take care of your van probably buy it off you for the same price since you dont get any money back and theyll sell you a GTS with some odd amount of interest smile

HELL NO THEY WONT PAY YOU 19!

Dont expect to get back what you paid for the car.

ok KBB value on your car is about 7399k (ruff estimate from kelly blue book) ... and lets say you owe about 9k on it ... the dealer will say ok ill take the minivan off your hands for what you owe on it BUT here is the price of the celica XXXXX more then likely a little bit higher the. reason for this is they are going to make back there money they lost on taking your van by increaseing the interest rate a liitle bit and uping the sticker price a few hundred bucks.

so heres a ruff diagram

**JUST A RUFF ESTIMATE PRICES AND INTEREST ARE NOT ACCURATE**

your van trade in value 7399.00 (ruff estimate)
-
they will take it off your hands for 9000.00
=
which leaves the differenace of about 1601.00 dollars they
lost

BUT

cost of celica GT 16000.00 (ruff estimate)
so they will either add the differance to the 16000.00+1601=17601.00 (thats how they make back there money

OR

the sticker price 16000 with a high interest rate for a car lets say usual interest rate is 9.1 (with good credit) instead of that itll be high as hell like 15.0 or something like that. and thats another way theyll attempt to make more money off you.

*also just a key note dont expect to buy a new car and be able to sell it later on for the same amount. car depriciate in value very quickly the second you drive it off the lot the value of the car has gone down.
