Does anybody know of an easy way to clean out the headlights... cause i bought my car used and somebody at sometime got overspray in the headlight...


Asked toyota about it and they won't touch a headlight!!!

Anyway my celi looks like it has one bloodshot eye

overspray like paint? confused if you need to get inside the headlight you're going to have to take it apart...that would explain why Toyota won't touch it. it won't be too hard at all to open up your headlights and clean them out as long as you're careful.

if it's inside, you have to open it..
as for the outside, maybe claybar and a glaze/compound will take off that crap

can you take a picture of the thing that needs cleaning??

.. after you take off all that crap put some
Mothers plasic polish

If it's inside, open them up, and might as well paint them while you're at it. Though overspray sounds like it's on the top.

I had sunspots really bad and I used my dads buffer and it got them, suckers CLEAN!!! It took all the fine scratches and didnt hurt the plastic!!! Try some rubbing compound?? That may be to rough!!

thnxs guys and girls hope fully one of these will work sounds like i'll probably wait and just paint the insides.

To clean that you should use TurtleWax 'Scratch & Swerl Remover' This is the best stuff to clean your headlight! It works like a dream! thumbsup

turtle scratch remover WORKS!!!

i just used it to get rid of the nasty spot things on my headlights!

hmm i'll have to give it a try..

so i guess.. turtle scratch remover first then
plastic polish to give it more protection thumbsup
