Celica Forums General Discussion General AWW, need help car wont go.

Heres the problem. Its been happening for months. Ill be usally on a hill ill put car in 1st and give it gas but nonthing happens. The RPMS dont go up at all and the exhaust makes no noise. So all i do is roll down the hill. It happens all the time. I thought it was the spark plugs but i put new ones in today and same problem. Any ideas?? I had my car in the shop some weeks ago and the mechanic said it was missing.??? aww, help. it even caused me to stall out one day

If it only happens on hills, it sounds like a fuel problem. I would start by having the fuel filter change & have the pickup inspected at the same time.

Sounds like a clogged fuel filter to me.

I haved it since last Oct. and so far I havnt done a tune up. Im gonna be hitting 70k next month. I was gonna tune it then. So a fuel problem..

UMM...hell yeah!!!! dude, you gotta do tune ups regularly...especially before 70,000 miles...change the fuel filter, and run some fuel injector cleaner too...that should be a start
