Also, does anyone know if the AEM big brake kit comes with red calipers already?

get it at advance auto. its a whole kit. i painted all 4 of my calipers with a couple coats each and still have like 90 percent of the paint left. its awesome and super easy. includes everything you need. brush, caliper cleaner, tape, and paint. go get it grin

The AEM Big brake kit just relocates your stock caliper. All you get is bigger drilled/sloted rotors and better pads. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

No, it replaces your caliper, and you have to have at least 17's.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't replace your caliper... just a relocation as the previous poster mentioned

- all you get are bigger rotors

AEM Big Rotor brake systems are the most affordable Big Rotor brake upgrade on the market. AEM Big Rotor brake systems relocate the factory caliper via patented caliper relocation brackets that change the moment arm for increased brake torque, which helps reduce stopping distances by an average of 33 percent. AEM oversized rotors are approximately 20 percent larger than OE rotors and have an extended thermal capacity that resists fade.

Key Features

Guaranteed to outperform O.E. pads and fit perfectly every time.

Work with O.E. brake systems and are ideal for AEM Big Rotor Brake Systems

Non-ferrous metal compound is non-corrosive, won't deteriorate brake components

Light colored dust does not show on wheels

Low squeal properties

Whoops, Oh yeah I just did mine with the red this past weekend. I did 3 coats of it. The paint has ceramic in it to help with the heat and make it last a long time. Turned out awesome. The finish is great. I am extremely happy with the way it turned out. You won't be dissappointed for the $15 spent! thumbsup
