Ok i have a question...well i have my baby which is a red celica tasty and i want to put white rims on it but they are way to expensive frown so i went to an auto part store and say spray paint for rims, which i bought thinking i could spray paint them.. but then i talked to my dad who said it might come out really bad if i do it, so i was wondering if anyone has any experince with painting rims or and idea, thanks for the help=]

I belive the best way to paint rims is to powder coat them.

if you're gonna paint em, powder coat is the only way to go! or else it'll look real bad

will powder painting though? (not that familiar with powder painting even after reading that thread...where isaac explained all i think)
cos, not to mention the rims are where it hits rocks all the time...i searched the forums, still not sure if the paint will fall or not... frown frown i know i am stupid... but i'm intrested in this too

powder coat, and the clear coat that goes over that should protect against rocks and other road stuff. same clear stuff thats on the stock rims to protect them...and pretty much any other rim out there, unless im mistaken.

Yes ... if your gonna change the colors of your rims to white ... find a place that will powder coat them. wink
