I am buying a signal lever with the fog light switch on it since mine didn't come with one. Is the install hard? Toyota said that it would take 2 hours and cost $160 to install. What's involved with installing the signal lever? They said that they would have to remove the steering wheel, airbag, etc, but I don't see why they have to do that much.

Thanks!

You would have to remove the steering wheel and the airbag system because the signal lever is connected to a "junction" box behind the steering wheel. The windshield wiper lever is connected to the box on the other side. Im not sure how much it should cost to get that doen but I do know that working around an airbag system is kind of tricky and if you don't know what you are doing you could accidently set it off.

you can either get a pair of stock fogs or aftermarket. aftermarket would be cheaper and it also comes with a switch...
