1984 Celica GT

can anyone give me some information on a 1984 celica gt with a 2.2 liter (i beleive the engine code is 22R) that is fuel injected 5 speed and rwd.

nice unique cars. think it was before the celica/supra split these where called toyota celicasupra.

but a good swap for these are the 7mgte smile

thanks, but what i realy need is parts to rebuild the original engine, the car belongs to one of my friends who wants to race it in a local stock car class that requires you to have the original engine.

22R motors and parts for them are very common dude, They came in the toyota pickups and forklifts as well

You were close Eddie smile 1979 saw the first celica supra based on the 2nd gen celica platform and it came with a 6-cylinder and rear disk brakes. Thats where I got the wheels and a lot of cool parts for "RED" wink
