You don't need a stage three, and you really don't need a stage two. The celica pushes minimal torque to the wheels, so you aren't gonna need a clutch capable of handling much more torque than you can put down. It will just wear faster.

Yeah no need for a stage 3 or a stage 2! A stage 1 clutch will be just fine even with all those mods. For the flywheel I would go with fidanza! When I get more money this is going to be my next mod.

[I'm going to say don't get the Fidanza flywheel. It's cheap and super light that's why so many people say get it without realizing what they got themselves into. If you deal with any daily stop and go traffic or driving to the drag strip forget it. It's too light, just don't get it. Don't forget about the cost to install one of those flywheels at $500 - $800. While your at it you might as well replace the clutch at $250 and up. I'm guessing the LSD is out of the question while the tranny is dropped. Looking at your profile I would suggest either just resurface your existing flywheel, get something heavier and made from chromoly, or just forget it until your clutch goes. Then think about. An exhaust and a header would suit you better. I personally would not go Fidanza ever

this is what someone had to say about the fidanza any one have any other suggestions

No it isn't. And do you even know how much torque the stock one can hold, and how much the Celica puts down, even with the mods he has?

Of course not. rolleyes

I think someone on new celica .org posted a list with the weights of all known aftermarket flywheels for the Celica, so you may want to check there.

^^^You're correct. I have pics and the weights (I think) of most of the flywheels available for at least the GTS. Some flywheels seem that they are only available for the GT and some of those Japanese sites it's hard to read, but I think I figured it out. I'm working on it and I will try to get pics, weights, and either if it's aluminum or chromoly up in the near future.

Just remember, the more you deviate over the rating you need with a clutch, the shorter its life will be. And since they are a pain to replace, and not to mention costly, you want to get only as much as you need. It's one of the few parts on your car where overkill can cost you.

i had a stage2 and it was great for about 75k though. the car is a lot jumpier after the install but it only last me 75k while my stock one lasted 100k. if you dont mind that it dosent last as long as the stock then get it. and by the way i didnt abuse the clutch let alone do any burnouts or hard launches thumbsup
