How long/hard would it be to make something like this? And what materials would i need?

quite a while. my frend made a custom sub box out of Fiberglass and it took him a whole week

That doesn't look like Fiberglass to me, it looks like laminate wood.

It depends on your skill level. It appears to be a somewhat simple install. You just need to have an understanding on how to build a sealed enclosure for the sub, then the rest is cut and fit to the car as you go. You could use some cardboard taped together to make a template of the whole back of the car, then transfer it to wood and cut it out. Then make the cutout for the sub with the enclosure beneath. You are gonna have to make some supports to hold up the "second floor" that you have made and then mount your amp to it. drill holes thru the floor for running wires thru. If you just plan ahead maeasure twice and cut once you can do it. It's not rocket science. good luck!!

Yea that was my setup...i just recently got rid of it for free sorry about that. Its a very easy install actually. Its a MDF box and a cover of MDF and formica on top of it. If ya have any questions feel free to PM me and ask away thumbsup
