When i'm driving sometimes, such as if i am in 2nd gear goin aroung 25 mph and then push down the gas pedal fast...the break light appears in my dash above the gas gauge? What is this about? I know it's only supposed to go on when the E-brake is up but why is it poppin up when i am drivin with the e-brake down?

If your brakes have problems it would probably light up the idication light. Take them in to be serviced & inspected.

Otherwise the light relates to your parking brake. Take apart your console & check it out. You may just have to adjust the point the indication light comes on.

it could be many different things. check to see if your brake fluid is topped off.

Check pages 76-80 of your manual. It shows the indicators, including brakes, and a brief summary of what happens and what to do. Of course the manual always says take your car to Toyota.

is it on all the time with the hand brake down? if so then ur brakes are worn which mean the brake fluid level is low and thats why you have the light on thumbsup
