The past few days my car hasn't been turning over as quickley. My car is about 5 years old and still has the factory battery in it. I have one amp. My guess was that the battery is starting to go...what do you guys think? And what are some good battaries that have a little more ampers than the stock?

ANy battery with at least 150 to 170 cold crankin amps aill last 4eva.. Also your car will be more powerful. I have 160 cold crank amps and my car starts at the slightest twist of the key. A ford F350 can run off of a 150 cold crank amps. Imagine what it can do for your celica. eek WOW I paid about $85 @ walmart

- Batteries are cheap, pick yourself up a fresh one.
- Have the electrodes in your starter replaced. Its an inexpensive improvement.
- Attach a large ground strap from your battery negative to the vehicle & the engine.

Then she will turn over good. thumbsup

so, what are some good brands besides Optima? I know Interstate, DieHard what are some others? How many cranking amps are the factory batteries in the Celica? How much are batteries with 170 cranking amps?
