my celica is making a funny clicking/squeaking noise from the engine bay. I can only hear it when in a confined area, such as between two parked cars or in a garage. I parked the car in a garage and revved the engine and decided that the noise is coming from one of the belts or pulleys. I don't know much about car mechanics...so does anyone know what this could be and if it is really serious?

its still under warranty. Right now it is getting body work for a minor accident i had and i am leaving for vacation before i get it back. I guess i will bring it to the dealer and tell them what is happening...hopefully they know how common it is, but i dont trust them too much because they fucked up installing my new engine.

Clicking could be valve chatter, while the squeaking is the belt or tensioner.

well i dont think the clicking is valve chatter...cuz i just had the engine replaced 2000 miles ago for a valve problem...i will never forget the sound my car made that day. It is most likely the tensioner, i am hoping to get it checked out when i come home from vacation. before it gets any worse.
