This is courtesy of c2gas. he doesn't spend much time over here, and I've been trying to get him to post how to get rid of the 1zz fuel cutoff point...Just figured I'd give him FULL CREDIT before I posted.

How to remove the rev-limiter in the 1zz -fe engine:
On the pic below change out the 16 mhz crystals to 18 mhz, and eureka...no more fuel cutoff point!!!!!

does it affect anything else in the car?? And i wouldnt see much reason for this unless someone has a fixed up engine, doing this for a stock 1zz is thumbsdown rofl

no other effect on the car. but if you build your 1zz (turbo or NA grin), or even just put in stronger valves and valve springs (MWR equipment), you'll be able to rev past the 6850 fuel cutoff

not yet, I found it this morning, and I have an email into MWR about how safe this would be, because they have a huge Turbo MRS that they said they rev to like 8300 rpm!!!, so when they email me back I'll know better

well my fuel cut off is at 7300 grin after that i seriously don't think ur car make any more power so you will be loosing power

how'd you get it that high? this mod, or by way of an apexi PFC???????...and yeah, I was gonna go for around 7300 - 7500...plus my engine is built N/A

to tell the truth i don't know how it got that high it used to be at 6900 and then all of the sudden i got it up to 7300 tongue maybe one of those cyrstels got fried but i love redlining that high thumbsup

this is only good for the stock ecu right? with fc cant you raise it higher anyways

yeah, all the GT ecu's are the same...all the fuel cutoff's are at 6850 rpm
