after following the instructions and countless trips to frys back and forth, i figured out the lighting and all that, but today, thanks to breakindrifts, found out that i blew a fuse, he suggested another power source, so any suggestions?

i run my wires through my fuse box so that i has its own fuse and if it blows i dont have to worry about nothing electrical working in the car

yea dude what kind of kit do you have? they all come with a fuse of some sort, if not goto autozone and pickup a 5A inline fuse,they're like maybe 3 bucks. Do it right the first time so you dont have a live wire and blow your car up

I took mine straight to the battery. No problems here.

Cigarette lighter. This was his original source and he blew the fuse for the cig lighter, he needs to find a more stable source.

Well seems like people have been using the Inline fuses try that, or hook it up straight to the battery and use a switch for it.

Cigarette lighter. This was his original source and he blew the fuse for the cig lighter, he needs to find a more stable source. I missed that. Holly cow, that's like 20 amps. If it blew that, I agree, go direct to the battery.

should've just went with that in the first place..since you already splice into wire, just go with the parking light/sidemarker light..then u'll be good..

I would say find another hot wire, but I don't know where they are. Anybody help me out on this one? If you ever get this figured out, Zach, its gonna look hot!
