I recently spent a lamented $750 to get my sunroof replaced. One of the mechanisms responsible for lifting the sunroof before sliding it back failed; so only one 1/2 of my sunroof would lift from the closed position. When I got the car back from Toyota, I noticed that none of the parts appeared to have the layer of lubrication that my old original sunroof had. All the parts responsible for lifting and sliding my sunroof back were replaced and are currently all shiny and new. But, my sunroof also doesn't sound as smooth as it glides back. So, I've got two questions, should there be kinda a permanent layer of "goop" on the lifting and sliding parts of the sunroof. And, secondly, what products would anyone recommend? Thanks.
