Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior H3 bulbs blowing foglight fuse

I'm having problems with my MTECH H3 bulbs in my fog lights. I recently got one of my fog lights fixed by the dealership because it wasn't working at all. Now after I put my MTECH bulbs in and turn them on my fog light fuse blows. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I bought my MTECH bulbs from this site a while back when they still sold the golden style bulbs. Can anyone shed some light on this?

it sounds like a wire is cross somewhere...

^^^I don't think so because when I use the regular halogen bulbs the dealership put in everything works fine.

Here's another question, does anyone know where I might be able to find bulb caps or "condoms" for H3 bulbs to change their color without buying new bulbs? I really like the look of the gold MTECH bulbs but I would hate to buy a new set just to find out that I can't use them. Any info would help. Thanks.
