AEM CAI bypass valve

Does the AEM CAI bypass valve cause the Intake to loose any power?

Oh and to answer your question, I'm pretty sure it will loose power if you install it cause it alters the design of the piping slightly.

FROM AEM WEBSITE... "The bypass valve may cause a slight loss in power due to the interrupted wall section created by the internal shape of the valve. In dyno testing we have found that the power loss is minimal."

Now i'm stuck. Do you wanna run the risk of hydrolock or sacrifice power? idunnoOr do you just shield it?
