the first hood scoop on the invader hood the one nearest the front bumper is`t going to leak in water when it rains.

i soon going to buy a hood somw time after i get a body kit and i going for the invader or the normal one in carbo fiber with raised hood scoop.

Yes water does get in but it is in a place where no problems occur. I've had mine for 8 months now and I have nothing but PRAISE for it.

youll probably get just as much water in through the reverse scoop as the raised scoop. its not like a river is flowing into it. wink

Snow is probably better, but I'd recommend putting your factory hood on during winter. It hasn't stopped raining here since May so yah, a lot of water gets in...I have a heatshield over my Injen short ram now but even before, water would drip onto it during the rain and it never caused any harm.

you can lay some plexiglass underneath the hood to cover the scoop.

dragracing.com has it for $550 shipped. it has been the cheapest place i've seen on the internet for the vis invader hood.
