You make it seem like every single thing about the XS kit is bad which is false. From what XS Turbo kit owners have posted, some have experienced customer service problems. One incident was about a Turbo manifold that was warped/cracked/damaged and XS wouldn't replace it. Other kits have worked just fine. The kit utilizes the apexi power fc engine management/ecu.
Bottom line: It is a good kit but the customer service backing it isn't up to par from what I understand.

I just want to state that I'm not an owner of the xs Turbo kit nor am I an expert. From people who have Turboed their car in the past, it seems that the transmission could hold up to about 300 fwhp. 300 HP on a front wheel drive car is more than what most people need. If you have anywhere near 300 hp, you'll have lots and lots of wheel spin.

As for the effects on the tranny, the kit produces around +/- 250 fwhp which isn't enough to do damage.

you have a very good point, but i belive stefanoc was trying to say that XS is not reliable, because of the past feedbacks on them, that goes on the reputation, SF gives more gains and i dont belive any one has complained about it, but its all up to you dawg, get wat you think its best for you, and a bout the trany, i heard GTS trannys are bad, i just had mine replaced under waranty, synchos were fucked up, so be careful, and if you really dont wanna worry about trany problems, check out C2Gas trany, its pretty muchs the best build tranny for our cars, and they make Turbos for our cars 2 so check him out thumbsup hope this help

i would trust a car with the PFC and a Turbo, i like the idea of knowing when somethings wrong with my engine...especially when a Turbo is applied to it

TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING!
TPR EXHAUST! - Exhaust made 10.5 whp peak and 32 whp at 6300 on my car!!!

Did you mean to say that you WOULDN'T truse a car with a PFC and Turbo? The reason being you wouldn't get CELs?

And on another note, you should be okay with the stock clutch since it can hold as much torque as the XS kit puts down, but it will shorten its life considerably. Once it goes out, then upgrade.
