I installed my TRD brakes last week and just at first when I drove the car it makes a medal to medal sounds is that a normal sound for new brakes? I dont think its normal Im wondering what should I do and what could it be thanks

I think it is. You are probably just breaking in the pads to the rotors...or maybe not. Not really sure but I think that is what it is. thumbsup

i drove like 200miles on the brakes already and it was installed last satuday but didnt drive it for 3days tho. wondering if its really normal because im scared that my brakes will go off on me

Did you just put on pads?

Did you have your rotors turned? If not, it will take time for the new pad to conform to the old uneven rotor.

If it's racing rotors and racing pads then it will make those metal to metal grinding noise...

yeah I just put new brake pads but i didnt change the rotor used the old ones. What do you mean by did i turn the rotor?

Also I got TRD Brakes and Stock Rotors and The sound isnt as loud anymore while i kept on driving it. I went out at first to drive it and the sound was gone only a little sound but really little barely can hear it i guess the brake pads are kicking in?
