I hollowed out my cats which basically does the same as removing them. It makes kind of a deeper sound. I recommend hollowing them out that way you might be able to pass car inspections. It should add a little gain in hp, like 5-10. it shouldn't cause any problems with your car.

I've been talking with someone at Random Technologies and he told me he could make a hi-flo cat for the GTS. I gotta send them specs for the deminsions and flange so they can give me a price. If your lookin for aftermarket cat instead of gutting it, shoot me an email and i'll let you know what they quote me. Perhaps some people might be interested in a group buy?

Just goto muffler shop and have them install high flow cat..
You won't get much gain out of from CAT...
But it's better to have less restriction..
AMSS DP would be simple way to go..
Gives you the whole pipe from header to axel..
Which is all bolt on...
If you want the straight pipe... just unbolt the AMSS DP... it's freaking loud and gains a lot alot of power..
