Pepboys will do it for $20 grin

But honestly... its so easy to do yourself...

The only reason why you wouldn't want to do it yourself is if you had problems holding/turning a socket wrench wtf

Ask if you can watch them do it. Then you can learn for next time. Pulling the bumper is really easy.

I don't think you even need to pull the bumper. I didn't, I just turned the back of the foglight with a hammer and screwdriver, and popped a new bulb into there.

HOW TO REMOVE STOCK BULBS IN THE FOGLIGHTS:
1. Remove Front Bumper
2. Unclip and plugs leading from fog lights.
3. Locate the foglights and unbolt them (2 bolts for both lights) from the chasis.
4. There is a cap on the back of the foglights that tells you how to unscrew them, follow the direction on the cap.
5. The foglight bulb wire is covered by cloth. Remove the plug from the little slot it is connected to and install aftermarket bulbs.

That easy, i don't understand why it takes someone 89 dollars to do this

Cause removing the front bumper is a pain in the ass, and because dealerships always overcharge in labor.

Yep, you can do it without removing the bumper. It's been a while.

The back of the foglight is hard to turn, so just tap it with a hammer and screwdriver.

That tapping with a hammer & screwdriver sounds like it would work well. After you take off your bumper a few times it becomes second nature and makes different things a lot easier. *shrugs*

amen thumbsup

I got it down to 5 minutes for the front OFF and 10 to put it back on again smile

(I've had my R2 off/on over 25 times, my stock off/on about 15 times and atleast 23 other bumpers on my car at one time or another spineyes)

Pepboys did it for $10.60..did it that same night i posted this thread...it was well worth it..i watched how they did it in the garage by standing outside in the parking lot instead of the waiting room...they basically listed it up and installed it that way it was written in the Installs section ("how to replace WITHOUT removing front bumper") either way $10.60 aint bad!!

Also man, that is why ecelica.com is the "Best and up do date -all in one- resource for toyota's 7thgen celica" -quoted from flash intro.

Browse around man. Look into the "Installs" and "Tech Info" links. I didn't know how to remove the foglights untill i looked there. It is the best place! thumbsup

The good old Toyota $89 charge. They will charge you that $89 fee for anything it seems. I love spending that $89 for having Toyota bullsh**t me and I do because I've spent it numerous times. What I did for the fogs is go to an "Import" shop and have those kids install them for $10. Now, I will do it myself if I need to after seeing how they did it without removing the bumper, any underbody plastics, and not a single jack used. Who am I fooling, $10 and some Big&Tastys (because I'm nice). Keeps my hands clean and my mouth also. The install section here is plain as day and just as easy. Never go to Toyota for any minor and sometimes major stuff.

yup, change/replace foglight bulbs doesn't require to take the bumper off. sure it's easier, but it's not worth it. just loosen the under plastic, and you're there... thumbsup

$10.60 is not a bad price, but going through it by yourself is much more fun, and a great learning experience... thumbsup
