I got these installed last week on thur. I was seeing if they were going to settle. There still is a 3 finger gap and i was told it should go down to a 2 finger gap. Mabey w/the shocks it messes up the dropping height. IDK, but heres a pic. Got installation and alligment for $100 grin. Great deal.

The ride quality is fine. A cant notice a diffrent at all before i had them installed. When I orgianlly put my 17s on the quailty went down a lil but Im use to it now. I can take turns like its my job. And i havnt hit a speed bump yet.

Teins will settle in about 3-4 months. I put them on my Celi with a set of 17's & it dropped an 1" & 3/4. It just takes time. I love the way it rides & corners, very tight.
Enjoy smile

shocks won't mess up the ride height, well atleast they shouldn't unless you got some very unforgiving shocks

Depending on how many miles you have on ur car. I say if you have less than 40k miles, don't worry about them. If you have more I would invest. I have 69k so i went ahead and did it. The lowering springs put more pressure on ur stock shocks thus, decreasing there life. No point of paying for two instalation might as well do it all at once.

But isnt the Tein drop prety small thus not putting a lot of pressure on the stock shocks?????

Thanks guys. 1.4" is enough to cause more pressure build up. How many miles do you have on ur car?

I got the same size rims and wheels!

Nice, I might be getting eibach sportlines and just using the stock struts till they go out, and then get the Tokico illumina's.

Batman you should b fine.

Celica2K i would recomend getting the shocks, unless you can install them urself or you got the hookup.

Springs were 168 but i heard you can get them somewhere cheaper. Shocks were 275.

wow 30??? how many tires have you blown? lol for a daily driver they should be no smaller than 40 but thats pushin it id say 50 for a comfortable/safe ride...and they are still lower profile and it would fill in the gap you got goin on there.. just my opinion...but i think a 50 would look a lot better thumbsup happywink
