Yah, it should. It will work something like lead additive. It smooths the cylinder walls & lubricates.

Teflon was in the news recently. Studies are beginning to show elevated levels of Telfon in humans. Further study is needed to find out the long term effects of the Teflon poisoning. I remember when there was lead in gasoline. Good stuff The manual in my Buick said "no less than 95 octane", which was regular gasoline.

I can see how it may seem like a good idea, but personally I don't use any oil Additives. Who am I?...no one special just a car enthusiast. I use very high-quality motor oil and I don't want to disrupt the purity or consistency of the oil nor do I see any need to improve upon the oil which should lubricate extremely well by itself when warm. If you want to be able to lube faster on startup, just use a high-quality synthetic 5w30.
I get my kicks on EC.
