Hi all...

I just wanted to show you all some pictures of my first larger do it yourself work on my Celi...

In the winter they spray a lot af salt on the danish roads, and hence it is a good idea to do some kind of rust prevention on the car, so that I did grin

First I took the car apart... this is the front end without bumber, shilds and inner wings...

It was actually quite fun doing this - even though the complete work took 3 days...

1st day: disasemble and wash car with high pressure water and dry for 24 hours in windy/drying conditions

2nd day: play width goo, make it dry, play with more goo aso..

3rd day: assemble car

But hey... I had fun - and I now know there is different levels of being sticky grin

Rust inhibitor is a way of life up here. Its $70 to get the car sprayed each year. First time you are there, its real scary becuase they drill holes in your car to get into various spots. Its a clear petroleum gel, kinda like vaseline only not as thick.

Not at the moment... but I used a product called Dinitrol which should be the best product to our climate.

I used two types. An extreme thin one - almoste water like - to use everywhere. And then I used a thicker brown/black type for the underside and the wings and other "exposable" areas...
