Hey, I am planning on powdercoating my Intake manifold and valve cover gunmetal. does anyone know how to do it? where I can buy the paint? Is it a good idea to do it at home w/ a conventional oven?
Thanks guys

I'd leave it to the pros. I havn't seen any at home powder coating projects turn out well unless some pricey equipment was bought for the job. And if you buy the equipment, then you would have to powder coat a lot in order to make up for the cost.

I just powder coated my manifold and valve cover in chrome and it turned out pretty nice. Send me an email, nick@tunedinnovations.com, if you are interested or have any questions. Some pictures of our work can be found Here [ tcforum.com].
