lucky me

so i noticed some rough shifts and a noise while in gear. so i took my car to the dealership and found out that they are going to have to replace my transmission. but i found out it was covered under warranty. i have a 60k powertrain warranty and my mileage is at 58k right now...so i got really lucky...or else that'd be a whole lot of money. just thought i would share...thank you for your time.

lol...yeah i race in my gt. theres actually no known reason as to why it would mess up. it was fine all weekend when i was Import and Truck Bash in Indianapolis. then i drove 300 miles back home and the next day i heard noises and it felt funny. so i took it in the following day.

i noticed a lot of posts 'bout transmission replacements over time, i had mine replaced too, but at 29k...

interesting, i don't recall any tsb's or factory recalls concerning defective equipment or anything though...
