Here are some pictures of the 2005 RSX. There are some minor changes...new headlights, tailights, stock 17'' wheels, and the Type-S now has 210 HP.

i was wondering the same thing
i wonder if it still has the k series power loss through the transmission
going from engine hp and torque numbers the new rsx has a slightly better hp/wieght ratio while the celica still has a slightly better torque/ wieght ratio
another thing to consider is that it is supposed to have the type r's final drive now , hmmmmmmm...

yup, you should wait. I heard that Acura will release the 2005 RSX in September (I think, not sure) and it'll have the same price tag as the 2004 model.

I still think it's ugly. And very plain. The overall stance of the car is WAY too high.

As far as the 10 extra HP... I am curious if it actually will dyno 7-8 HP higher than the previous years. Remember that the RSX-S and GTS put down almost the same HP to the wheels before.

Only Acura I'd buy is still the TSX or TL, if I was in the market for a sport sedan.

it is a nice car. it will look good with a drop and 18s.

i am never gonna buy a Toyota again.

dealers suck, and the quality of Celicas is not that great (except the engine), such as condensation in headlights & bad AC conditioning.

They are trying to beat everyone else to the Hybrid market. Why do you think the displacement of their engines is getting smaller and smaller.

now it looks like civic.
But like the fact that they removed the half-circular part on the headlight and tailight. It makes more mean...
I like it a lot! and plus 210 hp----you can't beat that..
I like RSX a lot but i just don't like it since its too big...

well if i cant get a celica in december on my b-day... ill look into the 05 rsx-s... if i can find a spectra blue celi but cant fit in it (6'0" 190 lbs) then ill go with that too... seems like the rsx got 10 hp more but 100 lbs in weight... also higher redline and 1 lb of torque more in 7000 rpms instead of 6000... rsx is still second in line behind celica though

another honda kill story is always welcome

in all honesty, i like the old look better. the headlights resemble like mazdas, something like mazda 6. got 3 circles in em. the tails look weird in the pic, maybe they look better in person. they added more weight and 10 more hp. its probably 2-3 extra whp, it will not cover the extra weight.
plus, i think they should have waited 1 more year and redesigned the whole car.
as for travisa..., if you were to buy rsx-s by the end of the year, the 04 will probably be as cheap as 22 out the door probably, bcz they want to get rid of it and get the new models in. they already make commission off it and they get credit from the factory
