I'm looking for a good mechanic around town, preferably around Torrance, Carson, Gardena or along the Southbay coast. If you guys got any recommendations, let me know. Thanks.

why do you need a mechanic?

I'm trying to see where I can get my belt tensioner fixed or checked out. I don't want to spend the extra bill at the dealership. Or.. Where can I get the complete belt tensioner assembly for cheaper than dealer price? Dealer wants $164.54 (SouthBay Toyota). Any ideas? I'm gonna grab a service manual and see if it's easy to replace. If so, then I'll go ahead and do it myself.

honestly, someone cant really mess up a belt tensioner install. it isnt that hard of a mechanics job. but if you still cant find someone who can do it, i know someone who could for good affordable price
