nobody mentioned a price ceiling... I'd take Trial any day over DC

- the economical choice would definitely be DC though

Alright guys, I have never paid any attention to threads concerning headers, since I never thought I would buy them, but now I'm actually considering getting them.

My pc is really fucked up right now. Something hijacked my browser so whenever I search (on any site) I get an error message and crash.

Can someone post a link to some dynos and prices for both of the headers? For the GTS obviously.

Thanks.

...keep in mind that the more mods you add to a car, the less gain you can expect from any one mod. Hence, the stock celica had a 10 hp gain after installing the DC header while the modded celi only received 6.4 hp from the Trial gen3 header.

- unfortunately, I can't find a stock vs. Trial header dyno to compare against the stock vs DC header... but it still gives you some idea as to Performance gains

... imo, if you have the cash, get Trial. But if you want to maximize the amount of mods your money can buy - purchase the DC header. To some, the small Performance advantage and more recognized name of Trial is not worth the extra $300-400

Yea,
Hop Up is a good place. I ordered my Intake from them and it took two days to get it. They have the best price for the stuff also.

i think the trial header is a peace of shit, they want close to one G for a damn header, and the dynos show only 6 whp, while dc header is only 300 and shows 10, i went with the dc sport header, and i tell u, im glad i did, after you hit that 7k rpm bamm, there is such a bost, i cant discrive, dc all the way thumbsup

actually, if one were to dyno a car with only the Trial header installed, it would produce gains at least equivalent to the DC if not slightly greater (my bet is on the latter)

... read my clarification post after the dynos I listed

If money isn't an issue I would go Trial or TRD (I know) all the way over DC also. I have yet to see some conclusive proof on the DC header. Maybe because I was away for a bit and missed some great break through on the dynos. I don't know. But if money really wasn't an issue I would try to get a hold of that Brash Boy (or whatever they are calling themselves these days) header. The one for around $2400. I can't find a pic of it on their site, but hell if I had money to burn I would go into uncharted territories.

Where are those dynos from the DC header coming from anyway? Just out of curiosity.
