The Z06 is one of the few I can stand looking at. I hate Vettes. GM thumbsdown

I like the Vettes and I honestly never knew it handles that well. Question, what are leaf springs or whatever they were talking about?

Corvettes have huge potential from relatively low cost. They are very modable and take engine swaps well.

I was sitting in one at a local show room. Man those things are cramped up. What a POS. And the price tag was more than a Boxter-S. I'd rather have the Boxter. thumbsup

Shit, Vette's look bad as fuck. My dad used to have an LT-1 and he modded it up to push 485hp, lowered with 20inch oz rims and falken tires it handled like a dream.

I was driving it out of the community and i did a 180 trying to get into the main road, that is how much power he had under the hood.

BTW my dads vette ate anything you threw at it; porches, saleens, supra's... It also ran a 11.1 quartermile up in lakeland. It is a very excellent car, as i saw.

Ill take good old american muscle anyday. For the cost of that nsx they raced against you can have a 9 second lingenfelter vette that still runs on pump gas and will kick the crap out of any high end sportscar.

485HP is lots, but its far from capable of killing everything in site. The factory TT of that motor is 700HP & its still not all that fast. A GT would eat it.

The Viper costs 3x as much as the Vette, and the GT is $250,000. That is why they don't compare them. They also have much more power than the Vette.

all those other cars are at least twice as much as the $45,000 vette, with the tvr topping out over $150,000. The vette has always been low cost high speed
