They are polished aluminum, I don't think you have to worry about rust.

Clean and polish them often, especially after rough weather.

i just remember someone on this forum who mentioned about the Hotchkis links can rust fast if you dont maintenance them. That was me. The links are themselves polished aluminum as you know, but the bolt and nut that's adjustable and connects to the other bushing is going to rust. I probably have one of the first Hotchkis links they made and maybe they put a coating or changed metal compositions afterwards. I don't know. I'm only writing this because of the pic from the website looks slightly different than my links, what I can remember or the same. It was a while ago that I got them so I don't know. All I can tell you is mine were badly rusted. Today I got an alignment and the shop adjusted the camber links with no problem. So either don't worry about, do a quick swipe every 15,000 miles as you re-lube them, or spray/coat a rust converter on them (there was a purpose to my rust topic if anyone read it). The part that rusted was the nut and bolt after the 2 fasteners in the pic. I will try to take pics of mine tomorrow.

What pic? from Hotchkis site or my own pics.? It's 10:40 PM here now. I can't or won't just go out in my driveway, lay down, crawl a little under my car and start taking pictures. I'll try tomorrow if my sisters birthday doesn't get in the way. I hope I'm not taking this wrong and I'm not angry in the least either. You want pics of rust. Take a look of my rusted coilovers same install as my links to give you an idea for now. Rust [ homepage.mac.com]

It was hard to get some good shots. These are the best I can do. The shop that did my alignment cleaned some of the rust off to make the necessary adjustments. Hope these help.

Yeah, those camber links are bigger than what you might expect. I didn't do the install myself. I had a shop do it with the install of my original coilovers some time ago. It's a piece of cake though and if I had to do it now I would, no problem. All you need are some jack stands, a torque wrench (if you want to go the correct way), an allen wrench (5mm), and some wrenches (14mm, 17, 19, 24). I have heard some people having a hard time with the endlinks, even snapping them, so be careful. If everything goes smoothly, I estimate under or about an hours time if your good or have an extra set of hands and tools.
