Hey everyone, I jsut purchased carbon fiber half eyelids, like the cheap style ones on ebay but real c/f. It does not bend dwon enough ont he side to be put on and it is to much for tape to hold it down. Does anyone know how to mold already treated c/f. It is already clearcoated but i am wiling to reclearcoat if needed. It jsut needs to be bent down. Maybe by heating in oven or hair dryer. If so how long and what degrees?? Thanks allot for al your help. -Dan

LOL ...nothing like the minor details. Like Even said, that's your problem, you will never get those to conform to those lights.

Carbon fiber is just that...fiber. If you heat it, you going to burn those fibers. If you don't completely destroy the Carbon Fiber, its going to have burn marks on it. I would just sell them.
