Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Cig Lighter Removal

im changing out the center console right now, and the only thing keeping me back is that my cig lighter wont come off of my old bottom piece...how do i remove it so that i can transfer it to a different piece? also, i have some red bulb covers from RJ Autoworks to change the cig lighter bulb red, but i have no idea where the bulb IS to change the cover so if someone could tell me where it is that'd be great

The wires should be connected to the cig lighter via a white connector that should just slide right off. If there are more wires holding it on, which there should be, just follow the wires down until you come to a connector, and unplug the connector.

The ring that is around the cig lighter itself should unscrew. Then, the lighter just falls out.
