So, some of you might have read a while back about how excited I was about receiving a letter saying that my car was being totalled and I would be receiving $15,000 for it. Here
is the link to my post. It turns out that I was NEVER supposed to receive that letter. I got the letter friday afternoon, and on Monday morning I started making calls to try to get the process finalized. Nobody knew about what letter I was talking about. It became a long game of phone tag. The final story turns out to be that the letter was a mistake.
Currently, my car is in the shop. There is $7000 in damages. I figure I'll drive the car for my last two years of college since it is already paid for. I'm going to use the medical money I will be receiving to have some fun with. Mods? Vacation? I'm not sure yet. My car will be in the shop for a month. I'm going to make sure that the car is perfect. There was only a single dent in the entire car body. If it has two dents, they're going to do it again. So it looks like I'll be sticking around here a while longer.
