ok guys...I just ran across these...the fibergalss NSX vents would run me $180, plus $500 for paint and install...I was looking around, and saw the Carbon Fiber version (real carbon fiber) for $245...how do you guys think they would look on a solar yellow celi (stock body for now, but I've got rims, and such, and I'm working on getting the cash together to import the FULL VARIS EXTREMOR kit)...I think I might get them cause nobody has them!!!!

I wouldn't paint them, and I've already got black with the car...I'm gonna end up with the extremor kit, and the invader hood, so I think the carbon fiber vents would be fine...and celicaboy: I bought the car solar yellow, sticking out is the point bro thumbsup

...yeah, but nobody has it...most are replicas...I'm setting my car up to look really really aggressive...I'm trying to do things differently than most people do...its part of my style. I've seen the extremor front in person with bomex sides and a bomex rear and it was nuts!!!! I've also seen a couple of good replica side skirts, but never an authentic kit, and never a kit in yellow.

Think about it like this...I've got a 2003 solar yellow GT, I've got Higher compression internals, I've got custom graphics that I drew and made for the car, and chrome wheels (for cruising and show) that match the graphics and flow, rather than just being bling. I'm gonna get the extremor kit cause nobody has it, and I'm gonna get a flat drag style wing for the back rather than some tall number...I had a 2003 razzi front, with a buddy club 2 front splitter, and apr canards (until they got broke)...I'm looking into the invader hood to go with the extremor kit, and I've also got an eye out for a full carbon fiber roof scoop (I've seen them on celicas and they look nuts)...I'm all about being different...its just part of it...I'm putting money into a celica GT, not a GTS, and I'm not looking to trade it for a Supra or 350 Z cause I don't want to build one of those...I'm unique

If you are gonna paint them, don't bother going with carbon fiber, unless you need the weight savings spineyes Judging by your rims, I don't think it matters much thumbsup

they look awesome bro..i'd definately paint them though...carbon fiber is nice, but i just don't think they would flow with your car if they went unpainted.

on the other hand, you can just buy the vents a bit cheaper (non-carbon fiber) and they'll look the same when you do paint them.

dont paint them! Carbon Fiber looks so nice on yellow... only get them if your going for a Carbon Fiber black theme, but get the vents after you have the hood or spoiler or something Carbon Fiber to flow with it thumbsup

^^^if you've got more carbon fiber parts on your car, then i think they'd flow ok...get some pics up if you get them thumbsup

personally i'd paint them...but if you want your car to stand out, then leave em like they are smile
