to put a long story short, i basically wasnt looking when i was backing out of work. most of the damage is done to the door mirror and vinyl covered areas. mostly just scratches and a minor dent. gotta look at it from certain angles to even see it. i'm not too worried about the mirror, i can get that replaced easily. right now im in a tough spot. im super low on money soo...for now, im thinking about just replacing the vinyl and covering up the scratches and just touch up the remaining visible ones. eventually im planning on repainting her so i figure ill just get it fixed then. what do you think? should i just follow my plan for now or get it all repaired?

the door has a small dent, i can barely feel or see it. looks worse than it really is in the 3rd pic because of my bro's reflection.

sorry to see that... frown

if you replace the vinyl now, you'll have to replace it again when you do decide to re-paint it. but if it is cheap then no big deal.

got a quote today from a local body shop, they said about $2000. the guy that did my vinyl said he would redo the side for $60. i think im prolly gonna have to take the easy route and stay with my plan for now.

^^ Yeah but it private property, if you claim it you have to repair any damage to the pillar as well as your car.

thats why i'm so hesitant now. all i did was leave some yellow marks. it rubs out pretty easy.
