Hyundai thumbsdown

Tiberons look good from 100 feet away, but you get close up & you know its no Celi, the workmanship & quality just isn't there. I know a guy with an '03 & his Hood is peeling.

my g/f's sister test drove one and said it is very small inside. The windows alone look like the windows on Vipers, they are so small. They are nice though. Not sure how well they maintain but they look pretty hot.

Well, just based on looks, I'd prefer a Tiburon to a Scion tC.

I test drove a V-6 Tiburon before I bought my Celica. I like the looks of the car. The interior felt sort of claustrophobic for such a wide car. I loved how smooth the V-6 was. The car felt solid but also sluggish and heavy. I owned a Hyundai before and had no problem with the quality. Overall, I much prefer my GTS.

Too bad your GT isn't a manual cause you might be able to take him to school in a race.

Tibs are decent cars, but suffer from quite a few mechanical defects, not to mention sub-par parts quality.

They look ok, build quality is sub par.

I test drove one, and the window weather stripping came off at 100mph

Friend used to have one, and the interior creaked and cracked like a Mustang.

I think from some angles, they almost look like the Supra. I've sat in one at a car show... the interrior is CHEAP.

I'm curious if he said WHY he wanted a Tib more than a Celi.

Hmm... and get rid of those chrome rims on the celi. rofl tongue

Yeah, didn't notice those rims...

I would have chosen any car BUT the Celica because I wouldn't want to buy the same car as my girlfriend.

When I first saw the V-6 Tiburons I though that thing must haul ass. Untill I looked it up and it had less HP than a GTS a 4 cylnder will kick a 6's ass when the HP is close.

Sorry but NO comparison IMO. The Celica blows it away in looks. The Celi next to it just makes it look ugly, that hot little bitch...lol happywink
