alright as I was backing my celica outta my garage I heard like a crank sound? as I was slowing easing off my brake pedal, then as I kept pulling out I hear a scraping noises like my car was dragging something from underneath, at first I thought I didnt let go of my ebrake but it was already down, and then I put my to a complete stop and shut of the engine, got out of the car and looked around but my car wasnt scraping anything...kinda figured it was the brakes? I just washed it two days ago and i havent driven it since...so what do you guys think it could be, this is the first time this has ever happened since iv bout it in 2000, oh yah its a 00gtauto...any help would be appreciated

New pads or shoes is possible. But if you just washed it could have been the rush on the rotors making that sound. A few stops with get the rust off and it sould stop making that noise.
Take her for a spin and see if a few stops don't fix it. If not it may be time for new pads.

It's either a problem with your brakes, or one of your wheels isn't on securely.
I forgot to torque down one of my lugs once, and heard the same noise while driving. Tightened the lug down, and the noise ceased.

Seriously, if you have taken your wheels off within the last 100 miles or so, and your car makes this noise, make sure that all of your lugs are there, and make sure they are torqued down.
If it's not that, then your brakes are rubbing.

Retorque your lugs after 20 miles or so. Very important.
