What does it cost at a body shop, to have a body kit installed, only thing is that the front has to be extended a little bit, i dont want it molded on, but i might do that if its near the same price. could you guys get me a estimate. thanks
and and can you include the price to repaint the peices too.
You say the front needs to be extended? I dont know do you have any pics so we can get an idea of how much work we are talking here. It could really vary I would just go ahead and take it to a local shop.
After checking for fitment today at my house, i have realize that this is not going to fit on my celica without modifications, this is made the GT and ST, and this is not going to work more then likely without modifications on all the peices. so now i must get a estimation, on modifications on all peices.
i might take it to this one body shop where i bought my car, he said that he know how to install body kits, and he may not charge me as much because i bought my car there.
at a parts shop around here, they have some do it yourself Fiberglass, bondo stuff, it was at advanced auto parts.
would this be a good idea to try to mold em on myself?
YES. Very expensive. DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF. I guarantee you will be disappointed. Its not anywhere near as easy as it looks. You got to mold it, shape it, and shave it. Besides, bodies kits are going to require ALOT of Fiberglass. Better off just buying the kit.
