Alright, so I bought some gauges for my car. It says in the instructions to "find out the lights anode and cathode by multitaster from back of dashboard and connect them". What does that mean? I looked at the gauge instructions on this site, and dont see any mention.. can you guys help?

Probably anode & cathode are positive and negative.

Basically where to hook up the power/ground (+/-) wires of the new gauge to. Multimeter is the device that test if there's power going through a certain wire... there are 2 pins to the multimeter, poke one through the wire you want to test and ground the other one on a metal suface, if there's power going through that wire than a light or buzzer will go on on the multimeter. For the gauges, you're basically looking for the wire that powers the LED for the needles, cause they only go on when the headlights are on... and that's the wire you connect with the power wire on the new gauge.

Dude, I had the same problem, I finally got mine done. Its actually easy. I used another forum that helped me out a whole lot, heres the deal, Click The link Below and you will have it done in no time... BUT disreguard steps 7 & 8 It is easier to just slide the glow gadges around the needles than it would be to take them off. Bood Luck and be safe... http://www.geocities.com/fastorstop/index.htm
