i got about $1500 to spend rite now...

i dont want to touch any engine mods rite now, since it's an auto.

i have few choices: wanting the most from 1(least)-10(most)

1: OZ Superlaggra 16" rims and get winter tire to put on stock (9)
2: WW side and rear (im not getting the front cos i like the 03 front) <---i dont know wut will the cost be for this one tho.. anyone have an idea? (with it painted 1-DO silver) (7)
3: Sound system (Infinity Components and that's it. no subs and stuff) (9)
4: get a TRD exhaust (6)
5: plz give suggestions...

p.s: please dont suggest rim size or brand...cos if im getting rims im getting the OZ supperlaggras and 16" for sure (no biggers). cos i want light wheels, and where i dont need to buy tire again.

thnx guys... confused now...

oh and for #2... it's either just get the WW rear and paint the stock side or get both WW side and rear.

Do rims, but 17s, not 16s.

^^^ is it that nessasry?

im not lowering the car, nor install a kit(if i get rims)

and most importantly, i dont want to spend the extra money on getting new tires.

if you have auto tranny, then go for show than go. do #2, but TRD sides & rear + razzi front. TRD sides from toysport (if you don't mind the wait, http://toysport.com/) for $320 (tell him that you don't want the mounting hardware, which they'll send it to you anyway), rear (romaniatoyota) for $250 (http://www.romaniatoyotaparts.com/btunlowval.html), and front for...i forgot. paint job shouldn't cost you anymore than $400...

well you got yourself in a hole...
i say rims and lower it with no body kit cause it will still look awesome...but you said you don't want to lower it

and that would be much better than getting half a body kit with stock rims and not lowering..wouldn't flow.

^^^ i will lower, but that will be long-term thing, cos i wont low without aftermarket shock.

SO then just get yourself some aftermarket suspension. you could afford the Hotchkis stage 1 kit for that price, and that's shocks, struts and springs, i also belive rear camber links too...

you already made your decision, didnt you?

if i were you, i would get rims (17+) first.

and then the suspension set: shocks+struts.

you can get Tokico HP set installed for $550.

HERES THE ANSWER--- just upgrade the sound system like you said and worry about every else later, ur prolly goin to have a good chuck of money left after that though!

-head unit (Alpine -IMO-, look at my profile)
-components (infinity, like you said)
-amp (not sure let someone else answer that)

out of the options you listed, I'd get the TRD exhaust first...

- later on stick to the rule of thumb - drop, then rims, and finally kit

i would just get coilover kit or the sound system. Like BMW said, you will have like 1k left over after buying the sound system if you already have a head unit.

I think you should just get a woman in a bikini to ride with you. If she's hot enough, nobody will car what you do to your car. thumbsup

hey guys~ thanks for the inputs~
i made my decisions:
1. goin to install Footwell Neon tom.

2. ordered OZ superlaggra 16" grin it's comming in 2 weeks (so long cry)

have around $300 - $400 left. im saving more money up for shock + spring set as next mod. probably will get a TRD set. either that or just Tein H-Tech spring and worry about shock later. thumbsup

I guess I was too late. I hope you at least are getting those snow tires. Enjoy the "free" money that's able to be spent on a car!!!! I'm with you and way overdue to lay down some cash on my ride also.

i think you made a big mistake on getting 16's, you should have gone with 17 or 18" thats like a waste of money IMO.

^^^nah, i thought about it for 3-4 months, and researched for rims from the first day i got the car.

i am not into driving fast and turning fast on curves, im just having the car for daily driven to schools.
i am aiming at a convinent and gas comsumption and money saving.
here are some reasons:
1: a bigger rim than 16" i will need to do a drop, or the car will look like a SUV and the center gravity will change.
2: if i buy bigger rims now i would need to get another set of tires, not to mention that 17" tires or 18" tires are more expansive than 16"
3: 16" will be lighter than 17", i didnt go for 15" because that way i will need to get another set of tires too, i dont want to spend money on the things i can originally save money on.
4: im not really modding my car aiming at shows nor Performances. i mod it for the satisfaction i want that is originally not there on the car.

like i said, i am aiming for convenient (auto) and gas comsumption (weight reduction without ripping off any original parts of the car) (also not changing the car...since that would go against why i get the celi.) and money saving (does not want to spend money on wut i really dont need)

well... maybe i made a big mistake for asking online then~since everybody here seems to be goin with either show car or Performance car... idunnothe standard is too different of mine from you guys'

thanks for the help anyways~ i got a lot off this site~

i would have said "get a TRD exhaust " but you made your choice.. so eventually you'll get it though thumbsup
