get one resistor per ring, and only for the possitive. (usually red)
solder 2 LEDs together by cutting the long foot on one, and the short on the other.
connect teh wires to the resistor and then add some more wire form the resistor to the bulbs feet.

once you have the 2 leds on each ring soldered together,
solder the resistor to the positive leg of the leds that you just soldered.

i stopped my angel eye project because everytime i bought blue leds, they were either an aqua blue or a dark blue WTF.

does anyone know where i can buy some leds online?

the long leg of the LED should be the positive end...just attatch that to the positive end of a battery and ground the other leg...it should light up. Mine came out pretty good but make sure you have pretty bright LEDs...cuz mine are barely visible even at night. It probably also doesnt help that they mine are red.
