After I read this, I was wondering what gasket is. I have to change my oil soon, Do you guys recommend change it by myself or take it to dealer? If I change it myself, do I just need to buy the filter and oil?

Yeah, change it yourself. Get a drain pan from a parts store that you can close up when you get the old oil in it so you can dispose of it right. You can't just put it in the trash, but a lot of shops will take it from you.

The gasket acts as a seal between the drain oil plug and the oil pan. You are supposed to replace it with every oil change, and I believe that you can purchase them at Autozone, or at your local Toyota Dealership for sure.

I just check mine for cracks, and if it's ok, I won't replace it.
