Is it possible to put a vtec controller in Celica GTS, Since we have a something like a vtec which is out VVTL-I or lift?

There is a huge debate on this. The VAFC will supposedly work with the 2zz because it's not made just for vtech it simply controls when the cam switch is made, but is a large debate.

actually im pretty sure it will work. a lot of the celicas here are using it... so i dont see why not. it also works for MIVEC

yeah i dont think he knows wat he is talking about, and he thinks the power fc is the vtec controller, give us some links and show us

the fcon pro can be used in place of the power fc.

power fc is the only thing

I'm no expert, but I think it is possible, but you wouldn't be able to take advantage of lift in the VVTL-I engines. Just what i've heard. idunno

The problem would be interfacing with Toyota sensors & computer.

i saw it on a celica in one of our local magazines (im in Australia) and they called it a VVTL-i controller. so i looked at the close-up shots and it was actually a VTec Controller...Clos, i think i would know the difference between the powerfc and a vtec controller.
im also pretty sure i also saw another celica at an autosalon event here with it.

i just wish it werent a debate and we could view an article or actual celica with it.

recommending a 'maybe' isn't going to help anyone. (and that is not mean to be derrogative to any of these responses...its just a fact)
