This is how my celi looked one month ago - just now getting the pix out. I've made more mods since then and will post when I get a chance to take more pix.
looks ok but not a fan of white rims... you ARE going to paint the spoiler arnt you?? if not you need to do some vynl on it or somthing so it blends in
yea dude, paint the spoiler back to the stock color, blue and white is a good theme to go with, but i would go with blue and black. But hey, whatever works for you, i got the red/white theme, heres some ideas oh yea i got the same rims
ewww not a fan. But here is some real feedback so you can improve. The rims are nice and would look better with a kit. Right now they are simply too aggresive for the stock body lines. The spoiler doesnt look good. It looks like you just got it and its been primed for paint. You should instead accent your front grill white or get white fill-ins for the celica latch handle. The altezza just need to go. Im sorry but the inside looks cheap the colors are not flowing. You should paint the center console blue to break up the stock color and pull your scheme into it more. Maybe some RJ autoworks white and blue gauges with LED swap to another color. In the end it can be done but white & blue is gonna be a hard combo to pull off but can be done. Best of luck to you. I hope you dont take offense to anything i said and understand that i am just trying to help.
Thanks for all the opinions. As I said - I'm just getting started. I don't expect most of you guys to like it - hell, my wife hates it! But I like the effect myself. And I get plenty of positive comments from others. I've always been an individualist and at 50 years old, I ain't gonna change.
So - I'll make some specific responses in the next few posts -

Nope - not gonna paint it. The original Spectra Blue one is in storage. Anyone who wants it can make an offer.
how did you get ur steering wheel like that with the two tone? it looks like a cover but painted. did it come like that or did you paint it urself. ?
It's leather - got it that way. Wheelskins is the manufacturer. I put it on myself - took about 1 1/2 hours. If I can find the link to where I bought it, I'll let you know. But go to the Wheelskins website. I had to alter the boot to fit.

I have painted the front grill and will get the pictures on sometime soon. I plan to buy a nicer grill and paint it white. Sorry - I like the alteezas. I plan more blue and white inside - in fact, I bought leather seats, but they are too fucking hot. So I plan to have my old seats reupholstered in white and blue Sunbrella fabric. Naturally, the wife hates it - but I know she'll put up with it since I drive us both to work each day (90 miles round trip). Bottom line - It may not be to everyone's taste - but it is mine - and it damn sure won't look like every other celica out there.
hey Doc, its cool that you are not upset with some of these harsh responses.
but to add...i think you should add a kit, unless you've done that already. the rims look too aggressive on a stock bodied celica.
Thanks, Zero -
I do like the WW look and will probably add it as I can afford it. I've replaced the exhaust with TRD and have an AEM CAI I need to install. I plan to put in an underpulley and of course drop it some.

sorry. it reminds me of "New Ice Breakers Liquid Ice. It's liquid, it's ice"
Personally i like what you've done, lower it and you should be fine, instead of a body kit, fuck what everyone else says, beef up your engine and start whippin' some young ricer ass and noone will hate on your color scheme. the steering wheel cover just doesn't work for me tho, it seems like you bought the leather yourself and sewed it on around your stock wheel, it just don't look right to me. Chrome altezzas look like on blue celicas, buy some Red out TYC's or some Carbon Fiber tails and you should be fine, chrome just doesn't flow right with the white spoiler you got going on. you could be REALLY original and paint your tail inserts white, that would stand out more and flow better.

I've got the 2003 lights - no need to do the redout. And I'm not usually a chrome kinda guy. But I'm sticking with the chrome/blue/white thing for now. However - the thought of painting the lights white inside has definitely crossed my mind.
The leather covers are made to sew on your stock wheels. I can understand it might not work for most, but I like it. And once I get more blue and white interior - well - ou will hate it more or get it. Whatever.
But I am going to drop it some. I'm buying the WW kit, but will probably sell the rear, since I didn't buy the extended exhaust. But I like the WW side skirts. And the front will do for now.
Thanks for the input, though. I'm definitely down with beefing up the power and the suspension at this point. I love to fucking drive. I love pushing the limits. And I really love having a manual tranny. That is what it is all about in my opinion. The rest is just dressing. And I can change THAT whenever I get tired of it.
