Hey guys i just got my MTECH lighting package in the mail. I had no trouble getting to the DRLs. The only thing left now is the low beams. I for some reason cant get the wire(the white plastic thing) off the rubber fastening?! Do i just pull really hard or twist? Im afraid it may snap or break. Also, once that is off, do i just remove the rubber wrap and theres the light bulb? Thanks alot. Im gonna be takin my car to a lift tommorow and gonna do the fog lights. I tried already but cant turn the extremely tight knob that keeps it in place. Any help is appreciated thanks. -Patrick

You don't need a lift for your foglights. Just take your bumper off, take the foglights and the headlights off, then you have complete access to them to change all the bulbs. Beats pissing around in the back of the headlight not being able to see a thing. The first time I did it, it probably too a half hour per lowbeam cos it was such a PITA. Take your bumper off, save the money from the lift & go for it.
Oh, if you're trying to take the actual wiring off the lowbeam bulb, I believe it pulls straight off.

I think one pushes in then up, and the other pushes in then down. The little wire pain in the ass thing right?

Believe me taking the bumper off, taking out the 3 bolts for the light would save sooooo much time. You can sit the thing in your lap, take probably less than a minute for the whole thing. Trust me, it took FOREVER for me to replace the bulbs the first time. The first time I ever pulled my lights out (to paint them) I could totally see what was going on and decided at that point, I would never fcuk with the lights unluess I pulled them right out.

i've never heard of this much problems changing the light bulbs... Werd, did mine in my office parking lot in like 30 min, highbeam, lowbeam, all the parking lights, and turn signals. This is an easy mod.

There is no reason to take off your bumper for anything other than the fog lights. If you pop off the cover to the fuse box and take off the belt cover (that sould be a no brainer) you will have all the room you need. Not like I have small hands either, big meat paws here.

its not a hard mod like most people mentioned, might be a lil frustrating if you dont do it the right way with the low beams, it seems like you added steps to changing the bulbs...
