If you had trouble shifting into second, this won't solve anything, it's most likely a tranny problem.

It's not a miracle fluid.

Not noticeable for normal driving
Just downshift at high RPMs, 5K in third, sending second into lift..goes into second! (just not smooth)..feels like to me that tranmission fluid currenlty in their is too slick for synchros..harder for them to match revs at higher RPMs with crappy lubrication

My thoughts, i hope MT90 will help

slidr...you said it the best. It's not a miracle fluid just as tightening your throttle cable will get rid of the low idle. MT 90 is real good stuff regardless. I use it for better protection because I push my poor Celica hard, harder than most normal street drag Celica drivers and I'm no stop light to stop light guy. Is it worth it? Yes. Is it worth it if I don't drive hard? Yes. Is it worth it if I have high mileage? Yes. Is it worth it I only drive hard sometimes? Yes. This stuff doesn't need to be changed like ever oil change either. Every 15,000 - 30,000 miles. It's well worth the few extra dollars you need to spend. I have almost 3 quarts left for when I get my clutch/flywheel replaced. If you get your tranny fluid drained and replaced at Toyota, they will be more than happy to add the Redline fluid and deduct the cost of their cheap tranny fluid.
