I had my custom trunk before that i did. And i wanted to accomplish what i wanted to do with it. And i did. But now i am aiming for weight reduction for my stereo, and something simple.

You can see my old trunk at
https://celicahobby.com/ubbthrea...r=1&postmarker=

now here is my new one.

1. Its not painted yet, it should be painted this week as soon as my neighbor lets me into his shop. dick head smile
2. The power, ground, remote, and a/v, and just ran acoss the floor cause i have to still paint it so i didn't want to run the wires yet cause i have to take it out again.
3. I still need to put my hypermotive 3pt rear strut bar in smile

3 pictures..

edit: i forgot to mention. . . I took a sledge hammer to my old box. smile

DIY with Fiberglass? That's HOT!That W7 is going to rock your fucking socks off! You should have added a piece where the Fiberglass curves back up and covers the trunk. Then your seat mounted amps could be proped up like your mono amp. Ricier, but goes nice with your trunk rice. Hope you dynamatted! Everything is gonna rattle, especially your nuts. rofl When you get it running, let me know how it sounds. Great job, Paul! thumbsup

started witha base mold of my wheel well. from there you from placement for your rings. Hotglue it in the air on wooden dal's. Then cover it in fleece, attach with staples. and start glassing. . .

what you guys cant see, is that inside of the box there is a false wall of 3/4 MDF that sections off the sub arear and the other misc amp mounting area. I just glassed it closed frmo the inside smile. the bottom is made outta 3/4 MDF also, but my orginal mold was straight glass on the bottom, i windined up cutting the bottom out to work inside and then closing it with MDF.

looks good but isn't it wasting space? being right in the middle makes it hard to put much back there
