how much would a strut bar under the hood really help in handling on a stock celica... and on a celica that has been dropped 2 inches?

it will really only help when cornering--and it won't be noticeable.

if you drive your car hard around turns (or autox), OVER TIME your car's chasis will weaken--which is why a good front tower bar, rear tower bar, and suspension mods are a good idea if you are this type of driver thumbsup

I'm going to say on a lowered car with some suspension modifications, obviously, that chasis reinforcement is needed. I would go atleast a front upper bar and rear upper (TRD or Hypermotive 3 point). The rear really needs it due to the design of our "hatchback" cars. Some say the front isn't needed because it will cause a little more "push" while driving. I believe because of the engine weight that a bar across those strut towers wouldn't hurt in the least controlling chasis flex. You should notice a slight difference either way, not like a stiffer sway bar difference.
